Every day is an opportunity to do good. We are living in crazy times, but most of us are very blessed. In the midst of all that is going on, it is easy to forget just how blessed and fortunate we are. There are many people of all ages who are struggling and it is within our power to help. We may not be able to help everyone, but the goal is to do what we can and make a meaningful impact for as many as we can.
March 2022 - $3,600 raised through personal funds and crowd funded support. 50 fully stocked bags and 15 partially stocked bags (sleeping bags/pallets, snacks, towels, and other essential items to keep everyone dry, and warm)
We completed the final stage of the February Orlando Homeless Drive this weekend and I don't know that I have words to describe the experience. It was such a blessing to be able to share with the community and talk with people and meet their needs. The love, feedback/conversation, and appreciation/smiles and joy was so awesome! God is SO good! We provided 50 fully stocked bags as well as approximately 15 other bags with variations of the remaining items that were available. I cannot thank everyone who helped to organize, those who donated, those who shared, those who prayed, and anyone who helped execute this Homeless drive enough. It is amazing the joy and gratitude I am able to experience. This campaign has been such a blessing, and I just want to take this opportunity to thank Jesus for allowing me to be a part of this and to grow my faith by seeing everyone's generosity and selflessness and willingness to help spread love and the gospel and provide for those in need.
